An August Update

Okay, so I have officially been HORRIBLE at updating our family blog!
There has just been SO much going on throughout this transition that we have been crazy busy! But we are loving every minute of it! We are LOVING Hendersonville & our new church family here at Long Hollow Baptist have been AMAZING! They have been so kind, helpful, & caring and have made this transition SO much easier! Brian has been so busy in the schools, at football games/practices, meeting school administration, etc.... he has definitely hit the ground running since arriving here at Long Hollow. He is having the time of his life!
God has been SO good to us through the decision of coming here. When Brian came to me back in June & asked that we seriously begin to pray about the possibility of moving here (an offer that was first presented to us back in April), I will admit I definitely had reservations about it. We were very happy with where we were in TX & had only been there for right at two years. So of course my thinking what "Lord, are you kidding me?!?" ... but He wasn't kidding & He has confirmed to us over & over again through His Favor & His Blessings that we are right smack dab, in the middle of his will for us!
There is NO other place I would rather be! He is so faithful when we are faithful to live a life of complete obedience to Him & His will for our lives.
He has a plan for our lives that is perfect & one that is far better than one
that we could ever put together on our own! Life is good.... I am one blessed woman!

Well the kids look like they are loving their new place! Transitions are hard, but when God's hand is in it, even tough moves are blessings. Glad you guys are all settled in and cozy already!

Get out! You're in TN???

If you ever visit Memphis, please call me! My e-mail is below!

I was just thinking about you the other day. The Mullins had their baby boy a few days ago! Had no idea you were not around TX anymore.

Congratulation on the move! I'll have to e-mail you a few shopping hot spots!
